Kaliber Longboards are all high-quality, handmade, custom longboards, skillfully created in Cologne, Germany. These boards are hard to come by and attract people who are looking for exclusivity and craftsmanship. “Who actually manages to get my number earns a Kaliber…”says Markus with a grin on his face. Founder Markus Möhlmann put his product design skills to good use after starting the business with a college friend, who later left the shop. Markus carried on heading the shop with their original vision and designs the boards with a distinct series in mind.
The future? Markus: “We want to stay small and want to stay that way. We might have only produced 5000 boards in the past 10 years.”
Most recent series: The 2011 knights series is reflecting the idea of King Arthur & the Knights of the Round Table featuring shield and crest designs utilizing bamboo or birch wood and fiberglass components.
